Emails before a challenge
The sequence Eli sends to employees before a challenge starts, and on launch day.
When a challenge is set to send emails, Eli writes to employees in that organization in the days before it starts, then once more on launch day. Each message is sent on behalf of the person who created the challenge.
The same sequence goes to two kinds of employees:
- People who already have an Eli account are asked to open the app and log in with their email.
- People who were added but have not joined yet receive a personal invitation link to join the organization. That link is created for them when the email is sent.
The previews below use a personal invitation, which is what an employee who has not joined yet would see.
Ten days before
A teaser. It says a challenge is coming at the organization, without naming it yet, and counts down to the start date.
Five days before
The challenge title is revealed, along with how the challenge is played (individuals, groups, teams, or organizations) and how long it lasts.
Launch day
Sent when the challenge starts. If colleagues have already joined, the email names a few of them. The call to action is the same as before: a personal invitation, or a prompt to log in.
